For parents of young children, we have a nursing room/supervised nursery located downstairs and Sunday School classes for children age 2 (as of September 1, 2023) through 6th grade, which meet during our worship service. Our offering is intended for those who consider NSCCC their home church. If you are a visitor, please do not feel obligated to participate.
Announcements: Deacon Meeting Today: There will be a Deacon Board Meeting today at 1pm in the Conference Room. This meeting is open to all NSCCC members. To ensure adequate seating capacity, please notify Frank Wang (Deacon Chair) before the meeting if you are interested in attending. Good Friday Service: Join us on Good Friday, 4/18, in the Children’s Wing for a 45-min interactive Good Friday service. Children are highly recommended to attend, where this will be an experience that ties the Cross of Jesus with our annual theme of Community Outreach. Let’s spend a reverent yet participatory time together, incorporating Scripture, visuals, prayer, and movement. The start time will be 7:15pm. New Sermon Series - Training for Community Service: We have begun a new, 8-part sermon series introducing two widely used outreach tools recommended by Pastor Ben Tzeng, who is this year’s Summer Retreat Speaker. Both tools - “The Three Circles” (Pastor Jimmy Scroggins) and “S.H.A.P.E.” (Pastor Rick Warren) were both originally developed for use in the Southern Baptist Convention. Here are the first three messages about how to share the Gospel using The Three Circles: - “Our Brokenness: Compassion Needed” - Luke 15:1-7 - God’s Design: A Forgotten Glory” - Luke 15:8-10 - “The Gospel: The Open Arms of Jesus” - Luke 15:11-32

Ongoing Ministries: Prayer Ministry: Our monthly congregational prayer meetings are at 9:45 a.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month. Contact EMC (EMC@nsccc.org) for the Zoom link or for details about worship & prayer in smaller gatherings during the week. Small Groups are an important part of developing community at NSCCC. See Ryan Graham or email ragraham@gmail.com for details about available groups. Youth Group is a great place for Junior and Senior High students to make friends, play games, and learn about God.
